BCS COMPUTERS DIAL-UP INTERNET SETUP INSTRUCTIONS
Windows 95/98/ME: Windows 2000/XP: If you would like to have your computer automatically dial up the internet when you open Internet Explorer or Outlook Express, follow this procedure: Now, you are ready to start browsing the Internet! Happy Surfing.
1. Double Click on My Computer.
2. Double Click on Dial-up Networking. (If you are using Windows ME, you will have to double click on Control Panel to reveal Dial-up Networking. If Dial-up Networking does not show up, please call for assistance)
3. If there are any accounts already set up that you are no longer using, please delete them by right clicking on them and clicking Delete.
4. Double Click “Make New Connection”
5. In the first box, type: “BCS Computers” Click Next.
6. Leave the Area Code Field blank, and type the desired dial-up phone number in the Phone Number Box. Click Next

7. Click Finish.
8. You should see the “BCS Computers” connection you just set up in the Dial-up Networking Window. Right Click on the connection and click Properties.
9. Uncheck the box that says “Use Area Code and Dialing properties.”
10. Click the Server Types Tab at the top. (For Windows ME, it is called the Networking Tab)
11. Uncheck the boxes that say “Log on to Network”, “NetBEUI”, and “IPX/SPX Compatible”
12. Click OK.
13. Make sure the phone line is properly connected to your computer, and double click on your new “BCS Computers” connection.
14. Enter your Username and Password, and Click the Connect button. NOTE: Your username has to have @logon-o.net on the end of it to work properly.
1. Click Start, Control Panel.
2. Double Click on Network Connections (If you have Windows XP, you may need to click on “Network and Internet Connections” before selecting “Network Connections”)
3. Click “Create New Connection” in the Left Hand bar.
4. Click Next. Verify that “Connect to the Internet” is selected. Click Next.
5. Select “Set up my connection manually.” Click Next.
6. Verify that “Connect using a dial-up modem” is selected. Click Next.
7. In the ISP Name box, enter “BCS Computers”. Click Next.
8. Type the dial-up number you would like to use. Click Next.

Jefferson City:298-4055
Other numbers available nationwide. If you need a
certain city, please call us for the number.
9. Enter your Username and Password. Your username must have @logon-o.net on the
end. Click Next.
10. Click Finish.
11. Verify that your phone line is properly connected to your computer, and double click on your new “BCS Computers” connection, and click the Dial button.
1. Open Internet Explorer
2. Click the Tools menu, then Click Internet Options.
3. Click the Connections Tab
4. Select the option that says “Always Dial my Default Connection.”
5. Click OK.
BCS COMPUTERS E-MAIL SETUP INSTRUCTIONS
These instructions are to be used to set up your e-mail account in Outlook Express. Some versions of Outlook Express may vary, so if you have difficulty, please call for assistance.
1. Open Outlook Express. If the e-mail account setup wizard pops up, skip to step 5. Now, you are ready to start Sending and Receiving e-mail! Have Fun!

2. Click Tools, Accounts
3. Click the Mail tab. If there are any accounts in there that you will no longer be using, please highlight the account name and click the Remove button.
4. Click the Add Button, then click Mail
5. In the Display name box, enter your name. Examples: John Smith, Mary Smith, John & Mary Smith, The Smith Family. This name will be displayed to the recipient when you send an e-mail.
6. Click Next.
7. Enter your e-mail address. Click Next.
8. Enter the following in the incoming mail box: mail.eldonpc.com
9. Enter the following in the outgoing mail box: 216.226.134.73
10. Click Next.
11. In the Account name box, enter your e-mail address.
12. If you want the computer to remember your password so you don’t have to type it every time you check e-mail, make sure the “Remember Password” box is checked and enter your password in the appropriate box.
13. Click Next, then click Finish.
14. You should see the account you just created listed. Click the Close button.
